Main Duties & Responsibilities
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our plastic injection manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a plastic injection manufacturing environment, with a strong background in operations finance, budgeting, and forecasting. This role is critical to ensuring our daily operations run efficiently while meeting production, quality, and financial goals. The Plant Manager will play a key role in driving operational performance, developing teams, and supporting the strategic growth of the site.
This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Denver, Colorado location.

*Supplier qualification and performance
*Management of purchase price variances against standard cost
*Slow moving inventory/FIFO
*Achieve labor utilization goals (earnings vs. actual labor cost)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Oversight and Leadership of Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, and Maintenance teams.
*Adherence to all ISO9001 and ISO13485 regulated processes and procedures
*Oversee the material flow process
*Works directly with customers to develop forecasts, blank purchase orders, and product release schedules
*Is a resource to sales and engineering for quote develop and maintenance
*Establish and monitor finished goods inventory levels to ensure on-time compliance to customer release requirements while minimizing carrying and premium freight costs
*Proactively work with customers to resolve supply chain interruption issues
*Ensure customer requirements are met on a continual basis
*Provide leadership to subordinates for individual and group development
*Develop internal planning and scheduling for new and existing product
*Responsible for departmental budgets: headcount, transportation, overtime, and cost of inventory
*Manage personnel issues regarding discipline, performance management, and salary recommendations
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
*5+ years of experience in driving change with positive results through an application of lean and six-sigma tools is preferred
*Experience in the medical device industry or ISO 9001 environment is preferred

EDUCATION
*Bachelor's Degree in related discipline preferred
*Formal Education in Six Sigma, Lean, and leadership strongly preferred
Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $135,000- $150,000.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
