Role Overview:

The Apogem Capital Summer Internship Program is an exciting opportunity for rising seniors looking to gain the experience, skills, and support they need to help launch their careers. The 10-week paid internship will take place starting June 2026. Participants will take part in weekly intern events, such as Lunch & Learns, Meet & Greets with senior leaders, and market calls. Our program includes training and development seminars, networking opportunities, social events, and the opportunity to be considered for a full-time analyst role.

By offering a full range of capital solutions, Apogem delivers innovative solutions to private equity sponsors and portfolio companies while generating access to highly sought-after opportunities for our clients. The internship begins to develop a foundation in credit underwriting, financial analysis and portfolio management through on- the-job training and specialized projects. Interns will work alongside one of Apogem's teams to begin to learn and understand our fast-paced, results oriented organization. Positions are available in Finance & Accounting, Tax, and Business Intelligence

What You'll Do:

Depending on your placement in the program, the internship could include the following responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and investment screening
    • Review industry news daily and enter new funds into proprietary database
    • Assist with database management, including generation of primary team's pipeline and forward calendar
    • Perform industry and strategy market mapping
    • Attend prospective manager meetings and calls and generate meeting notes and quick screen evaluations
    • Present manager evaluation findings in weekly team meetings
  • Diligence support
    • Support deal team in assessment of investment opportunities
    • Support senior investment professionals in diligence documentation
    • Attend investment committee meetings and own documentation of commitments and approvals
  • Performance reporting and portfolio monitoring
    • Complete post-closing documentation for new investments
    • Perform ad hoc analysis on current investments
  • Marketing and client service support
    • Support marketing and other various requests from existing and prospective investors
    • Support client service in development of existing and prospective investor communications
  • Organization
    • Support special project work as needed
What You'll Bring:

You will bring a desire to learn more about Apogem Capital. You have strong written and oral communication skills and possess technical and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. You have prior internship experience, or have made significant contributions to campus or community extracurricular activities.

Required Skills:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited 4-year university or college with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027

Business, Finance or related major preferred Excellent interpersonal skills

Technical, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

At the end of the summer, interns will be considered for an offer to join Apogem Capital full time upon graduation.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and interviews will begin mid-September.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$30 - $35 / hour

Overtime eligible:Nonexempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:No

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
