Sales Manager, Fused Quartz & Crucibles

You will play a critical role in driving strategic growth and customer success within a defined U.S. territory. This individual is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for Momentive Technologies' Quartz & Crucibles product line by cultivating strong, long-term partnerships with key accounts and identifying new business opportunities within those existing customers. Acting as both a customer advocate and a market-facing representative, the Sales Manager leverages deep industry knowledge and customer insights to influence internal initiatives, guide product development, and deliver tailored solutions that meet evolving market demands. This role requires a proactive, consultative approach to account management, strategic selling, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with key customers by proactively engaging in long-term planning discussions to understand evolving business needs and future product requirements.
  • Leverage customer insights to influence internal product development, service enhancements, and strategic initiatives that align with market trends and customer expectations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders, guiding decision-making through data-driven recommendations and deep industry knowledge.
  • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts.
  • Develop the business & growth opportunities for our Quartz & Crucibles products into identified territory within the United States.
  • Understand the application value chains and prioritize internal resources to support major accounts for Quartz & Crucibles products.
  • Grow the business through the strategic selling process, key account and pipeline management, and value-selling approaches.
  • Establish sales and marketing plans for existing and new customers in the region to increase sales growth and develop new opportunities.
  • Manage revenue forecasts for the assigned accounts.
  • Provide regular market intelligence reports to help drive actions and strategies in the business.
  • Drive escalation on significant quality or service issues to support satisfactory resolution for key customers.
  • Lead pricing negotiations for the Quartz and Crucibles products with accounts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of channel/account sales experience in the semiconductor industry with demonstrated successful track record of sales experience.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of Semiconductor process, Semiconductor equipment and materials.
  • Knowledge of Quartz, Ceramics, or similar materials.

Key Relationships:

  • Reports to the Managing Director - Sales.
  • Customer Service, Supply Chain, Global Sales Team, Product Management, and Finance.

Travel Requirements:

  • ~15-30% domestic travel (varies by quarter and tradeshow season).
