Job Summary:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of M1's data
engineering, reporting, and predictive analytics initiatives. This role ensures alignment between technical teams,
business stakeholders, and leadership, delivering solutions that support M1's strategic and contractual
objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, business analysis capabilities, and
familiarity with aerospace/defense environments.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Strategic Oversight
* Lead execution of M1's proposal objectives, including centralized data platform, dashboards, CDRL
reporting/compliance, scheduling application, and predictive analytics engine.
* Ensure alignment of projects with corporate strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational
priorities.
* Promote adoption of data-driven practices across the organization.
Projects and Program Management
* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, roadmaps, and resource allocation frameworks.
* Track KPIs, report progress to senior leadership, and proactively identify/mitigate risks.
* Lead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and foster continuous improvement.
Business Analysis and Requirements Management
* Partner with business units to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements for data integration,
dashboards, and analytics solutions.
* Translate business needs into functional/technical specifications for engineering teams.
* Validate deliverables to ensure operational requirements and customer compliance standards are met.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
* Serve as the primary liaison between executive sponsors, technical teams, and end users.
* Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, status reports, and project documentation.
* Build strong cross-functional collaboration to align IT solutions with mission outcomes.

Quality Assurance and Compliance
* Establish governance frameworks for data projects in accordance with internal policies and industry
standards.
* Oversee testing, validation, and acceptance of system deliverables.
* Ensure CDRL reporting and compliance obligations are fully integrated into project outcomes.
Additional Relevant Duties as Assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
Education and Certifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
(equivalent experience may be considered).
* Professional certifications strongly preferred (PMP, PMI-ACP, CBAP, or equivalent).
Experience
* 7+ years of IT project management experience, including at least 3 years in business analysis.
* Demonstrated success managing large-scale data, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
* Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries highly desirable.
* Hands-on experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
* Familiarity with enterprise reporting, BI tools, and data governance frameworks.
Skills and Competencies
* Strong knowledge of data lifecycle management, compliance reporting, and IT system integration.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to influence decision-making at all organizational levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
* Skilled in change management, process improvement, and organizational adoption of new technologies.
Working Conditions:
* Reports to IT Operations Director, based at M1's Denton, TX office.
* Hybrid work environment available, subject to business needs.
* Primarily office-based; occasional travel or after-hours work may be required.
* U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible for security clearance as role supports compliance-regulated
environments.
