LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION, BUSINESS SOLUTIONS DELIVERY DIVISION, DAVIDSON COUNTY Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, programming, or business systems analysis. An associate degree in a related field may substitute for the bachelor's. Relevant experience may substitute for education up to two years. Overview Under general supervision, the Business Intelligence Specialist - Intermediate supports the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence (BI) solutions. This role helps analyze source data, build reports and dashboards, and troubleshoot BI-related issues to support data-driven decision-making. This class is flexibly staffed with and differs from Information Systems Associate, in that an incumbent of the latter learns to perform the administrative and technical duties related to the design, development and maintenance of an information system or business intelligence technology solution as a member of a project team. This class differs from that of Business Intelligence Specialist-Advanced in that an incumbent of the latter independently designs, develops and maintains components of business intelligence technology solutions.
