The Supervisor of Customer Meter Services is responsible for the daily supervision and organization of assigned operations personnel in order to effectively and efficiently accomplish job tasks in line with departmental and National Grid requirements. Responsible for supervising personnel in either the Field Operations or CMS team to ensure the safe and reliable maintenance and operation of the gas system, productively and cost-effectively. The successful candidate must be prepared to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate is expected to be on-call schedules and ready to respond to emergencies. #LI-STR1 Downstate NY Salary $114,000 - $134,000 a year Please be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation ("DOT") covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company's testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.
