Description

Leidos is looking for a highly technical and energetic leader to join our Defense Enterprise Services team based out of Ft Meade, MD. You will provide security architecture support, drive cybersecurity implementations across the DoDNet, and serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients. This role involves developing cybersecurity solutions, providing technical strategies and guidance, and leading a team of 3-4 Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

A successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and deliver compelling technical solutions. Active DoD Secret Clearance & Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are required.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement security solutions and architectures for clients.

  • Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) actions by developing documentation and artifacts in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) (NIST 800-37 rev 2).

  • Provide input to and guide the implementation of an Audit and Accountability Plan (NIST SP 800-53).

  • Develop integrated solutions for monitoring, remediating, and documenting information system vulnerabilities per DoD Instruction 8510.01.

  • Design and implement integrated solutions for Asset Management, Identity, Access Control, MFA/SSO, and other cybersecurity tools (DoDI 8520.02, 8520.03).

  • Review and recommend updates to existing security architectures to maximize effectiveness.


Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years of related experience (relevant experience may substitute for education).

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing enterprise security solutions, including all related documentation.

  • Extensive experience in enterprise security architecture design, including creating diagrams and documentation with IT system components and network topology.

  • Specific experience with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA/ZTNA) deployments and roadmaps.

  • Strong knowledge of secure enterprise architecture design, particularly with C2C, IAM, NDR, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and AI/ML.

  • Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity guidance (NIST SP 800-37, NIST 800-137).

  • Proven ability to break down complex problems and develop actionable solutions.



Preferred Qualifications and Experience


  • C2C, PAM, and cloud architecture skills.

  • Robotic Process Automation/Intelligent Automation.

  • Experience with business case development for security solutions.

  • Additional cybersecurity certifications.

  • Knowledge and experience with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

  • Proven leadership and management background.


Additional Details


  • Location: Ft. Meade, MD

  • Role Type: Hybrid (2-3 days in-office per week)

  • Salary: $180,000-$230,000 (based on background, certifications, and education)

Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
