Job Summary Under supervision, this position is responsible for establishing and maintain accounts and memberships on groups; collecting, allocating and reconciling payments; and performing service functions for group accounts.

Job Description Summary

Offers comprehensive financial support for banking and billing operations, serving both new and existing clients. Proficient in setting up, managing, reconciling, processing, and balancing bank and customer accounts. Investigate discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams, external clients, banks, vendors, and partners to achieve effective resolutions. Manages billing processes, including collecting outstanding payments and issuing disbursements. Conducts thorough audits of accounts to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately analyze and apply premium payments for both individual and group accounts.
  • Conduct monthly billing reviews and reconciliations for group list billing to ensure accuracy.
  • Initiate requests for premium refund checks as needed, ensuring timely processing.
  • Generate manual billings when required, maintaining accurate records.
  • Proactively contact customers to verify banking or billing information, ensuring seamless payment processing.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to both internal and external inquiries related to premium billing.
  • Meet or exceed daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while actively pursuing individual professional development.
  • Utilize available tools effectively to track and monitor the financial performance of customer accounts.
  • Work independently while actively contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Answering calls from agents and/or group administrators for group billing accounts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, collecting, customer service, billing
    and/or accounts receivable.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrate basic accounting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Must be available to work holidays and weekends based on business needs.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.
