Job Description:

US Technologist at Outpatient Center

Monday - Friday

7:30am - 4pm

Currently no weekends or call (subject to change)

Under the department supervisor's direction, will oversee the daily flow of patients through the department and coordinate daily exam assignments. Will be responsible for quality control of the section as designated by supervisor

• Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases.
• Collects patient histories and other related information, coordinating and communicating with the radiologist and all others as needed.
• Verifies patient name, DOB, ID number and order.
• Follows department protocols and produces quality images for each exam.
• Continuously monitors the patient through the exam.
• Assist Radiologist with exam when necessary and with invasive procedures
• Effectively uses the EPIC and EI systems
• Completes studies in EPIC
• Makes studies new in EI
• Assists in ensuring all studies are assigned to a radiologist at end of shift

Requirements:

• Technical Diploma
• RDMS (Physics and an additional specialty) and /or ARRT (S)
• Five years of job-related experience
• BLS
