Position Title: Production Worker
Wage: $16/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3pm-11pm Are you looking for steady local work with reliable hours? A well-established cement manufacturer is now hiring a 2nd Shift Production Worker to join their team. This full-time position offers dependable Monday through Friday hours, from 3:00PM to 11:00PM-perfect for those seeking consistency and stability close to home. Production Worker Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Bag cement using semi-automated or fully mechanized filling equipment - Fill bag for box line, twist and tie bag and fold to fit in box - Stack bags or boxes - Add ingredients by hand - Stamp boxes or bags - Watch machine while filling and sealing bags - Follow safety guidelines - Keep work area clean Production Worker Requirements: - Lift or slide bags or boxes (weights of product 9, 10, 25, 50, 55, 60, 88, 90 pounds) repetitively - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds often and up to 75 pounds occasionally - Ability to do repetitive bending (loading pallets) - Ability to stand on feet for at least 8 hours daily - Work in dusty environment - Ability to work in hot/cold environment - Ability to go up and down platform ladder 25-40 times daily QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
