Product Classification Analyst needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work remotely in the US. Responsibilities: Obtain drawings directly or by coordinating with Procurement. Review drawings to accurately identify the product commodity. Assign the appropriate NAICS code to each product. Collaborate with Engineering, Program Office, Quality, and Procurement teams to resolve questions and gather additional information. Coordinate with Planning or MMCOE to update the MRP system with NAICS code information. Perform repetitive classification tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Required Qualifications: Ability to perform highly repetitive tasks efficiently with strong attention to detail. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision. Broad knowledge of product commodities, including but not limited to: metals, electromechanical, electronics, and other commodities. Desired Qualifications: Experience with MRP or ERP systems. Familiarity with NAICS classification standards. Background in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, or engineering environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
