Job Description

Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for aSeniorData Managerproviding support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/HBD), Theater Battle Control Division at Hanscom AFB, MA.The Theater Battle Control Division manages efforts focused on developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining programs that support worldwide communications, Battle Management, Command & Control, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C2ISR), Tactical Air Control, Air/Ground Surveillance, Time Critical Targeting, Combat Identification, Radar Imagery, Integrated Air/Missile Defense, and Mobile/Fixed C2ISR Performance, Exploitation & Dissemination Facilities.

This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in Data Management to include, but not limited to:




  • Generate and evaluate equipment accountability and inventory logs and reports.



  • Compile data, perform analysis, and prepare reports, tracking tools, and synopses of analytical results.



  • Maintain status of CDRL items, including receiving, sending, recording activity, and reporting to Government staff.



  • Oversee document version control and staffing for government documents.



  • Provide input on and maintain records management plans in accordance with program requirements.



  • Perform and document file plans; deliver documentation per records management procedures.



  • Maintain various electronic files and program websites using web-based applications.





  • Analyze and recommend data requirements and specifications.



  • Design, normalize, develop, install, and implement databases.



  • Maintain, monitor, tune performance, back up, and recover databases.



  • Install, configure, and maintain database management system software.



  • Analyze and plan for changes in data capacity requirements.



  • Develop and administer data standards, policies, and procedures.



  • Implement and manage data mining and data warehousing programs.



  • Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and architectures.





  • Apply cybersecurity policies, principles, and best practices to all data management services.



  • Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, USAF, and program office security standards.





  • Configure SharePoint services and settings, documenting architecture and configuration.



  • Manage site quotas, file size limits, and content databases.



  • Create new content databases as required and maintain existing ones.



  • Review and monitor SharePoint usage reports.



  • Administer and maintain SharePoint sites, layout structures, and content.



  • Provide technical support and guidance to SharePoint end users.



  • Assess and implement new SharePoint capabilities to enhance functionality.



Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field



  • 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience in the DoD



  • Must be a U. S. Citizen



  • Must have an active Secret level security clearance.
