As a global leader in clinical development, we're seeking a visionary Clinical Neurology Leader (MD), FSP to drive innovation, shape strategy, and elevate our neurology portfolio to new heights. Your Impact As our Clinical Neurology Leader, you will:
- Leads the Clinical Development (CD) Team, a cross functional, multinational team of internal experts, through clinical phase II-III trials through global product registration, as well as supporting product life cycle optimization.
- Serve as primary medical expert for neurology programs, guiding protocol design, regulatory interactions, and scientific engagement.
- Responsible for the ongoing risk-benefit assessment of a compound until approval in a main country. Analyses incoming clinical data, relevant medical and scientific information and initiates actions or decisions as appropriate.
- Mentor and inspire a team of medical directors and scientific staff across global regions.
- In consultation with other key stakeholders, is responsible for communication of medical project and study strategy, study results and clinical project results to internal and external bodies (e.g. regulatory authorities).
- Represent at industry conferences, advisory boards, and regulatory meetings.
- Undertake any other duties as required.
What You Bring
- MD with board certification in neurology or extensive clinical experience in CNS disorders.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience (specific to neurology TA) with substantial knowledge of drug development and extensive clinical research experience within the pharmaceutical/CRO industry in a specific therapeutic area.
- 3+ years of experience overseeing a neurodegenerative disease-focused investigational medicine development program in a biotechnology company Experience with registration trials and MAA/NDA submission is preferred
- Proven leadership in clinical development within a CRO or biopharma setting.
- Deep understanding of neurology drug development, trial design, and regulatory pathways.
- Strategic thinking, scientific rigor, and a collaborative spirit.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
- Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.
- Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
- Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
- Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
- Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Varied hours may be required.
