Location: Louisville, KY, USA - 5101 Jeff Commerce Drive Schedule: Monday to Friday- 6:30am-3pm. Schedule subject to change based on the needs of the business. OT is mandatory if required. Our Louisville, KY location is looking for a dynamic and motivated Inventory Associate to join our team. Job Summary: This position performs a variety of task which may include but is not limited to the below: Key Responsibilities:
Comply with all applicable FDA, DEA, cGMP, regulatory mandates and company procedures Monitors inventory transactions to ensure accuracy
Resolves inventory variances based off of internal/external customer correspondence (shortages, damages, product disposition, etc.)
Support internal/external customer requests and respond timely Create purchase orders for supplies ordering Create and process RTV Orders Frequent contact with all departments including warehouse personnel. QA, management, carrier and client contact. Maintain multiple Excel and Word documents provided to various departments Cycle counting / Physical Inventories Inventory slotting & replenishment Returns processing / destruction processing Perform, delegate and direct daily volumes to meet production requirements At times may: receive, pack, ship, along with other warehouse duties
Minimum Qualifications
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
1 year of distribution center or warehouse experience, preferably in an inventory control capacity. Internals must have at least 6 months of experience in a DC environment Ability to operate powered mobile equipment (MHE: Chery Picker, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker, etc.) is strongly preferred. Location is willing to train those that are able to maintain certifications once trained. Exposure of SAP (and/or other warehouse systems/software) is preferred Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) at a basic to intermediate level Quality driven, organized, punctual, committed and detail oriented Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment Must possess the ability to correctly input data into the computer Ability to read, write, comprehend, and analyze general business documents, procedures, emails and communications. Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must have accurate mathematical abilities (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.) Ability to foster team work while meeting production levels Ability to express ideas clearly both written and oral communications; ability to interact well with and communicate effectively with others (co-workers, management, vendors, clients) whether in person, on the telephone or through email correspondence. Self-motivated and can work with little to no supervision
Physical Demands (some or all may apply):
Must be comfortable working at heights Must be comfortable working in the freezer and other cold areas within the warehouse Ability to walk up to 10 miles throughout the course of a shift (steps vary per shift) Ability to lift 20-40 pounds repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance; ability to lift greater weights in a team lift (weight varies based on product) May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
