The DAM and PIM Resource Planner will play a key role in supporting the team's Customer Experience (CX) business goals by optimizing the management of digital assets and product information.
*Role Summary* We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Information Management (PIM) Resource Planner. This individual will be responsible for organizing, storing, and retrieving digital assets and product data, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and effective usage across the organization. The role also includes managing metadata, implementing workflows, training users, and planning future enhancements and integrations with platforms. *Key Accountabilities* *Digital Asset Management (40%)* * Manage the lifecycle of digital assets within the DAM system. * Develop and implement metadata schemas and taxonomy for efficient organization and searchability. * Monitor system performance and user adoption; provide training and support. * Enforce best practices for asset usage and rights management. *Product Information Management (40%)* * Maintain accurate and consistent product data across all channels. * Develop processes for product data enrichment and syndication. * Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams. * Create and manage product content including descriptions, specifications, and images. *General Responsibilities (20%)* * Define and implement DAM and PIM strategies with cross-functional teams. * Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions. * Manage vendor relationships for DAM and PIM systems. * Develop documentation and training materials. * Plan future enhancements and integrations. *Qualifications & Skills* *Education* * Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, Computer Science, or related field. *Experience* * Minimum 5 years of experience in DAM and PIM systems. * Proven expertise in metadata management and workflow implementation. *Technical Skills* * Proficiency in DAM and PIM software. * Strong understanding of metadata standards and taxonomy. * Experience with system integrations and API management. * Knowledge of digital rights management and asset security. *Analytical & Communication Skills* * Ability to optimize workflows and solve asset/data-related issues. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. *Project Management* * Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. * Skilled in planning and executing DAM/PIM system enhancements. *Forward-Thinking* * Innovative mindset for exploring new integrations and system improvements. * Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends. *Preferred* * Automotive industry experience is a plus. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
