Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Education Coordinator to support the planning, organization, and delivery of training and education programs for both external customers and internal employees in a dynamic, multisite company. This role will help deliver client education on food safety, laboratory testing, and scientific trends while also coordinating internal training efforts that strengthen technical, quality, and operational capabilities. The Education Coordinator will manage training logistics, materials, and systems to ensure learning is accessible, professional, and impactful. Success in this role will be measured by smooth execution of training activities, accurate program tracking, and strong collaboration with internal teams and subject matter experts.

Essential Responsibilities

Training Coordination & Delivery

  • Support the scheduling, organization, and delivery of external training programs on food safety, laboratory testing, and scientific methods.

  • Coordinate internal training activities focused on technical skills, quality assurance, and operational effectiveness.

  • Serve as a point of contact for training participants, ensuring clear communication and smooth program logistics.

Content & Materials

  • Assist in updating and maintaining training materials to ensure they are accurate, engaging, and professional.

  • Partner with subject matter experts to prepare slides, handouts, and digital resources.

  • Upload, organize, and maintain content within the Learning Management System (LMS).

Technology & Systems

  • Manage day-to-day administration of the LMS, including course setup, enrollment, and reporting.

  • Track participation, completion rates, and feedback to monitor training effectiveness.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Compile training data and prepare reports for stakeholders.

  • Gather participant feedback and support continuous improvements in training delivery and content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, Business, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience coordinating training or education programs, preferably in a scientific or technical setting.

  • Familiarity with food safety, laboratory testing, or scientific environments a plus.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and comfort with digital learning tools.
