Duties: Maintain and continuously automate a large, complex virtualization and cloud-based computing environment. Provide technical guidance within the team on networking and serve as a technical liaison between internal departments. Utilize best practices for the management, architecture, configuration, DR, administration, and automation of the enterprise server virtualization environment with cloud technologies. Design, develop, and build the business's cloud infrastructure architecture. Develop and maintain a library of deployable, tested, and documented automation design scripts, processes, and procedures. Develop and maintain CI/CD frameworks from code to deploy using Jenkins to speed the development process through automation. Setup Jenkins pipeline for Terraform automation and Ansible automation and enable build triggers to apply changes to AWS platform. Kubernetes administration and support, design Rancher architecture on-prem and AWS, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues related to cluster availability, performance, application deployments and scheduling. Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for configuration changes, networking, storage, and security utilizing AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Write and maintain documentation of relevant operating procedures and processes. Provide professional input to the organization for cloud and virtualization end-to-end architecture and IaaS, as well as PaaS and SaaS solutions for future state. Implement production changes during maintenance windows and support on call rotation. Perform cloud computing and virtual environment build-outs, software installation, maintenance and support.
