The Jomaa Lab at the University of Virginia invites applications for a full-time Lab Specialist or Technician to support projects focused on understanding protein biogenesis at the molecular level. Our lab uses a combination of biochemistry, mammalian and yeast cell systems, and advanced structural biology techniques such as cryo-EM and cryo-ET. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree. Experience: 3 years of experience. 6 years of lab-related experience accepted in lieu of degree. Licensure: None. The position will remain open until filled. This is a non-exempt level, benefitted position. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment.
