Job Description
Kearney & Company is seeking a Platform Application Developer to join our growing team! Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable applications using platform-based technologies
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and developer teams to translate requirements into functional applications
- Integrate applications with external systems and data sources through APIs or connectors
- Conduct testing, debugging, and user support to ensure platform performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain documentation in accordance with DOD or client-specific guidelines
- Implement configuration management, access control, and change tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- One application developer certification in Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Palantir, or related platform
- Minimum of 4 years of experience developing complex applications on enterprise platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and/or Palantir Foundry)
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle, platform governance, and integration patterns
- Proficient in scripting (primarily Python), automation, or low-code tools used within platform environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control tools
- Ability to work in-person 2-3 days per week in the Washington DC / Alexandria VA area
- Active Interim Secret Clearance at minimum (requires US citizenship)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret security clearance or higher
- Prior experience supporting Department of Navy (DON) or other Defense organziations
- Knowledge of DOD cybersecurity standards (e.g., RMF, STIGs)
- Experience working in hybrid environments with DevSecOps pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Multiple certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform Developer, Salesforce Platform Developer I, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer)
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $140,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
