Overview

Element has an opportunity for a new Customer Onboarding and Credit Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati. This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector (TIC).

In this role, you will report to the Credit Manager and will be responsible for the primary support of the customer onboarding process. You will work with Element Labs and customers to set up new accounts and communicate with internal and external customers effectively; ensuring that all Element policies are being adhered to during the onboarding process. Hybrid role: 3 days in office + 2 days remote



Responsibilities

    Collaborate with Element Labs and the Credit team to ensure each stage of the customer journey aligns with expectations and delivers a seamless experience.
  • Conduct onboarding calls to support customers and address any initial concerns or questions.
  • Prepare, issue, and tailor welcome packs for all new customers to ensure a personalized onboarding experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact within the Credit team for all customer onboarding-related inquiries.
  • Manage the smooth transition of customers from onboarding to ongoing support within the Credit team.
  • Set up new customer accounts across multiple platforms and maintain accurate master data records.
  • Perform credit checks using credit reference agencies and monitor customer credit status continuously.
  • Contribute to the development of metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of the onboarding process.


Skills / Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience in multi-site / location customer or credit support
  • Proficiency with accounting software systems
  • Effective prioritization skills, and the ability to influence and direct operations
  • Demonstrated problem resolution skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and working knowledge of cash collection and credit risk processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to function as part of a team
  • Ability to remain calm when faced with deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience of reading and giving recommendations based on credit reports
  • Microsoft D365 experience
