What to Expect
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who will be responsible for ensuring consistent and coordinated efforts exist in a focused commodity that span several Supply Chain Management and Supplier Industrialization Engineering teams. The goal: Achieve key supply chain metrics including on-time supplier readiness, cost reduction implementation, and overall program maturity through cross-functional teams related to Tesla sourced components.
What You'll Do
- Connect and coordinate activities between Programs, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Supplier Industrialization, Planning, New Program Introduction and Finance to ensure seamless component and product launch, while also limiting exposure to supplier liability/ excess inventory during coordinated program phase-out
- Collect information and generate presentations to clearly and concisely communicate risk to executive team
- Track and calibrate supply chain readiness against program timelines, bringing visibility to risks and driving action cross-functionally
- Understand a broad range of manufacturing processes and their critical paths to prioritize the work of SCMs, SIEs, and cross-functional teams
- Represent Supply Chain team for risk mitigation and escalation discussions with Executive team, in collaboration with commodity Group Manager
- Understand sourcing process and drive team for timing and execution accountability
- Develop robust systems to track progress of critical manufacturing equipment installation programs
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years experience with program management in either automotive or manufacturing experience
- Master's Degree in Engineering preferred, or evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience in program management in a technical or manufacturing environment
- Excellent communications and presentation skills with ability to influence cross functional stakeholders: Programs, Design Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Supplier Industrialization Enigneering, Planning, New Program Introduction and Finance
- Excellent analytical and judgment skills.Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives
- Demonstrated ability to establish business process issues and drive process improvement.Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
- Organizational skills to manage transactional details

Expected Compensation
$100,000 - $186,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
