Position: Talent Development Specialist I | Division: Talent Management| Work Days: Monday - Friday| Hours of Operation: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Position Overview: The Talent Development Specialist I plays a pivotal role in advancing the capabilities of new hires and existing employees through a blend of in-person, virtual, and digital learning modalities. This role is tasked with maintaining and enhancing instructional materials to reflect the evolving landscape of the banking industry and the specific needs of Broadway Bank. By fostering a conducive learning environment and embodying the bank's culture, the Talent Development Specialist I supports the organization's strategic objectives and commitment to excellence. Essential Functions:
- Facilitate training sessions for a diverse employee base, leveraging instructor-led, classroom, and virtual formats, ensuring alignment with organizational timelines and objectives.
- Manage logistical aspects of training delivery,
including the reservation and setup of venues, equipment, and systems; scheduling of sessions; and distribution of learning materials. - Deliver training experiences that reflect and reinforce
Broadway Bank's culture and brand values, enhancing employee engagement and retention. - Administer the Learning Management System (LMS),
overseeing course assignments, content uploads, catalog management, and the generation of comprehensive reports on user engagement and performance. - Monitor and report on the integration and progression
of new hires through the training curriculum, offering insights into program effectiveness and opportunities for improvement. - Evaluate training program outcomes, soliciting feedback
to refine and update curricula and materials in line with current practices and business needs. - Conduct needs assessments and job-task analyses to
identify skills gaps and development opportunities, formulating targeted training solutions. - Collaborate in the creation of engaging training
content, including job aids, participant handouts, and introductory eLearning modules. - Organize and contribute to internal and external events
aimed at employee development and promoting financial literacy among the wider community. - Maintain open lines of communication with retail and
contact center leadership, ensuring transparency and collaboration in the training process. - This position may
require travel within the Bank's geographic area.
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail banking or
financial center operations. - 0-2 years of experience in facilitation, instructional
design, and eLearning development. - Demonstrated ability to deliver technical training on internal
systems and processes. - Effective at synthesizing and communicating complex
information clearly. - Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational
Development, HR, or related field preferred. - Training certifications preferred.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of banking systems and applications,
such as Fiserv, Aperio, Enact, and Nautilus, alongside Broadway Bank's product suite. - Exceptional communication skills, capable of delivering
compelling presentations and fostering meaningful interactions. - Collaborative team player with the ability to forge
strong partnerships across business functions. - Resilient and adaptable, with a positive outlook that
aligns with the bank's brand principles. - Highly organized, self-motivated, with meticulous
attention to detail and proficient in managing multiple priorities. - Confident public speaker, adept at providing
constructive feedback and coaching, facilitating group learning activities. - Creative and open-minded, welcoming feedback and
personal development to continuously improve.
Other Requirements:
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
- Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends as required by training schedules or organizational needs.
- Occasional
overtime or extended hours may be required.
