About the Role As the Partner Marketing Manager for Microsoft at Insight, you will partner with the Microsoft partner management and alliance team to execute sales enablement and demand generation strategies that support sales pipeline growth and revenue, aligning with Insight's strategic go-to-market growth goals for Microsoft. You will act as a point of contact for the communication and implementation of marketing programs that accelerate revenue and margin performance. You will spearhead initiatives to strengthen and expand relationships with key Microsoft stakeholders, enhancing their overall marketing investment. You will work with a cross-functional team to provide compelling solutions that align with Insight's solution area goals. You will manage and report on Microsoft cloud and cloud-adjacent business, ensuring Microsoft's investment is maximized across Insight's full portfolio of clients and that goals are met along with proof of performance requirements to ensure all funding is collected. To Be Successful You Will:
- Immerse yourself in the Microsoft cloud business at Insight, understanding Insight's goals and the strategic direction of our partnership with Microsoft.
- Understand each of Insight's solution areas, their goals, and how your partner can contribute to mutual success. Stay updated with all things Microsoft, including growth strategies for Microsoft at Insight.
- Work closely with our Microsoft partner management and alliance teams to develop data-driven marketing programs aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with our campaign team to develop, pitch, and maintain partner campaigns and programs, while regularly reporting on results.
- Measure the success of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Ensure proper execution of all activities, including gathering proof of performance post-campaign.
As a Partner Marketing Manager, You Will:
- Work with key stakeholders to develop, launch, and manage comprehensive demand generation campaigns to grow the company's overall solution area business.
- Manage and fulfill non-campaign content requests, including social media content not tied to specific campaigns as well as webinars, emails, collateral and other materials.
- Contribute to the creation and distribution of newsletters and other key updates to communicate updates and initiatives.
- Provide campaign teams with targeted propensity accounts and criteria to optimize marketing efforts.
- Lead technology partner relationships from a marketing and programs perspective, including providing updates on marketing initiatives and campaign results. This includes facilitating ongoing meetings and marketing updates with external Microsoft stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Uphold brand standards and guidelines to maintain consistency across all marketing materials. Regularly refresh and maintain content on the Inside.Insight partner page.
- Collaborate with the events team on the planning and execution of flagship events, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- Identify and drive the creation of compelling client stories that showcase client successes and highlight the value of our solutions.
- Analyze Microsoft competitors, industry trends, and market shifts to inform and enhance our marketing strategy.
- Organize and conduct training sessions to empower team members and enhance their skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or similar post-graduate education is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing or product management within a Business-to-Business organization.
- Technology marketing experience preferred.
- Microsoft experience and/or familiarity is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Marketing Planning and Execution: Experience with complex marketing stacks to develop integrated campaigns or marketing programs. Understanding of CRM/Digital Marketing tools and traditional marketing channels, and budget management.
- Results-Oriented/Decision-Making: Ability to create and meet deadlines while managing time efficiently in a multi-tasking environment. Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve deliverables and pivot plans when needed. Use analytics and metrics to guide the team and drive improvements in demand generation efforts.
- Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Relationship Building: Highly collaborative work style. Experience in matrixed organizations is a plus.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and follow processes that support a quality teammate or client experience. Bring ideas for improvement to the table.
- Business Acumen: Understand the big picture of the business and how your partner can support these goals.
- Supervision: Self-starter with an aptitude for understanding complex technical concepts, ability to follow through and lead others.
- Creativity: Up-to-date on current marketing trends, ability to innovate while following brand guidelines.
