Summary:

Responsible for managing the corporate operating and capital budget process. Oversees the consolidated budget and five-year forecast and provides support for various projects and reports related to consolidated Brown University Health

Responsibilities:

Manages the development of the corporate budget including allocations of departments to the affiliates; trains department staff and management on the budget process, including budget system data input and reporting

Coordinates the consolidated capital budget process; compiles and reviews all submitted capital requests; prepares the capital budget presentation

Oversees the consolidated five-year forecast including revenue forecast models, debt schedule and depreciation forecast

Prepares the Community Benefit reports to be used in the Brown University Health audited financial statements and tax return

Provides support to senior management by preparing various financial reports, reconciliations, and presentations

Assists as needed in various financial projects and other related duties as required

Provides responsibility for up to 3 FTE's as needed to staff the department.

Qualifications:

7+ years of finance experience with a focus in financial planning & analysis; management experience preferred

Ability to work collaboratively with others; must possess a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
