Job Description

The Senior Executive Assistant will provide high level administrative support to the Vice Provost for Student Affairs. This may include but is not limited to:

- Managing the Vice Provost for Student Affairs calendar; independently will determine importance of requested meetings and coordinate calendar to accommodate their needs; draft correspondence, respond to all requests on the Vice Provost for Student Affairs behalf; perform all daily functions for information gathering, and manage all approvals and signatures requests.

- Manages, facilitates, and coordinates Student Affairs meetings with leadership, staff, and students.

- Directs workflow and independently responds to inquiries and messages for the Vice Provost for Student Affairs

- Arranges travel and logistics for the Vice Provost for Student Affairs.

- Manages pending projects for Student Affairs and ensures goals and deadlines are being met.

- Act as liaison between the Vice Provost for Student Affair and University representatives, students, Divisional representatives, etc.

- Provides general administrative support for the staff in Student Affairs.

- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

An Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

* Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.

* Highly organized and detail oriented.

* Able to take a project from beginning to end with little supervision.

* Strong customer service skills; team building skills, professional; and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Anticipated Hiring Range

$53,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.
