The Patient Access Registration Team Lead reports to the Patient Access Manager, the ED Registration Team lead is responsible for performing various functions within the Patient Access Department that requires full understanding of the ED Arrival & Registration processes at Suburban Hospital (SH), and continuous improvement of these processes, data entry, Insurance verifications and collection of Co-pays. The Registration Team Lead employs a collaborative style, uses great communication and interpersonal skills, and has a keen sense of organizational skills, multitasking and prioritization to deliver successful outcomes. The Patient Access Registration Team Lead's primary responsibilities will be to oversee and guide the evening registration team, providing support and guidance on patient registration, admissions and related processes. The team lead shall also act as the liaison between the ED Clinical/Non-Clinical staff and ED patient Access Registration staff when necessary. The Lead will also ensure that patients receive excellent customer service during related activities.
