We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven PMO Portfolio Manager to join our Residential Water Treatment business in Brookfield, WI. This is a high-impact role where you'll drive strategic execution across a portfolio of initiatives that support our growth plans. You'll work in lockstep with senior business unit (BU) leadership to ensure project delivery excellence that accelerates innovation, improves operational performance, and unlocks value across the business.

You will:

  • Lead execution across the BU's project portfolio, ensuring portfolio roadmaps align with strategic goals and efficient use of resources.
  • Analyze strategic initiatives, define business cases, and serve as a strategic advisor and execution partner to senior leadership, including the Group President, Group Technology Leader, Group CFO, Group HR Leader, and Category/General Managers.
  • Lead and develop a team of project managers to drive execution by instilling a sense of urgency, hold stakeholders accountable to meet or exceed targets, proactively identify future looking red flags, and drive resolution to move projects forward.
  • Provide support and enablement to project leaders outside of the PMO team, fostering enterprise-wide alignment and shared project leadership standards.
  • Manage global stakeholder engagement by building strong relationships across regions and business functions.
  • Ensure strong portfolio governance, conducting project health checks, tracking KPIs, and reinforcing standards that support successful execution.
  • Partner with cross-business Portfolio Managers and PMO leaders to align tools, templates, and best-in-class PMO practices.
  • Enable cross-functional leadership by embedding project management principles across departments and capability levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Have 10+ years of progressive project management experience, including experience working for a global business.
  • Experience directly managing people, including performance management, hiring, etc.
  • Experience successfully leading teams and initiatives across globally dispersed stakeholders and regions (e.g., Europe, Asia).
  • Proven ability to drive strategic execution across diverse initiatives such as engineering/NPD, supply chain, operational transformation, and M&A.
  • Demonstrated capability to influence executive stakeholders and foster alignment at all levels of the organization.
  • A collaborative, relationship-oriented leadership style grounded in mentorship, trust, and cross-functional partnership.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect project performance to enterprise value creation.

Travel:

  • Up to 25%, including internationally.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $110700 - $205600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
