The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated F&B Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the F&B Manager reporting to the Director of Clubhouse Operations, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the highest level of service, quality, and member satisfaction.

Duties & Functions:



  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the FOH, providing service in the manner set forth through training.
  • Directly oversee, hire, and terminate pool serving staff and restaurant serving staff.
  • Ensure the club follows health, safety, and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of all bars, providing service in the manner set forth through training.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clubhouse Operations in bar menu development.
  • Play a significant role in training team members to elevate their education of spirits, wine, beer, menu knowledge, and craft cocktails.
  • Help the team troubleshoot and make recommendations regarding performance issues relating to staff, menus, equipment, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Lead pre-meal meetings and daily lineups, passing along all pertinent information.
  • Ensure the Beer Room, Liquor Rooms, Keg Cooler, etc., remain clean and organized.
  • Serve as an opening, mid, and closing manager on duty and ensure SOPs of opening/closing duties are being executed.
  • Supervise and assist FOH team members during mealtimes, ensuring proper full service, order taking, beverage service, and always leading by example.
  • Be visible to all members and guests, respond to guest inquiries, requests, and issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner, and resolve guest concerns.
  • Verify the accuracy of all charges (member and otherwise) to ensure proper account posting, respond to errors, and post credits to member accounts when errors are made in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure Payroll, inventory, and scheduling are accurate and approved by the deadlines given by the Director of Clubhouse Operations.
  • Ensure safety training and standards are maintained.
  • Responsible for all beverage ordering, including but not limited to beer, non-alcoholic beverages, wine, spirits, fruit, nectars, and barware.



Qualification Standards:



  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2-5 years in food and beverage operations, with 1-2 years in management.
  • Expertise in food and beverage trends, menu development, and cost control.
  • Strong leadership skills for team supervision, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
  • Proven experience with inventory management, vendor negotiations, and purchasing.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, P&L reports, and financial forecasting.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certifications in food safety, alcohol service, or WSET are advantageous (or willingness to obtain).
