Position Title: Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis - Commercial Position Summary The Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) supports the overall commercial team on a broad range of financial topics, including short and long-term forecasting, sizing and identifying strategic initiatives, and cross functionally developing business cases. The Senior Manager is also responsible for all logic, analysis and reporting related to JetBlue's flight profitability modelling. The Senior Manager directly oversees staff that own financial modeling & forecasting and leads the team in developing relevant presentations to senior leaders across the organization. Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain both short and long-term commercial cost forecasts, including the Loyalty, Product, Customer Support, Revenue & Planning teams
- Provide strategic financial guidance and decision support to commercial leadership
- Lead business case analysis on key commercial projects with a focus on cashflow, profit & loss (P&L) and various return metrics, including cross functional fleet analysis
- Oversee flight profitability reporting for JetBlue, including review of allocation logic and supporting the commercial teams on utilizing flight profitability data for key future decisions
- Act as key point of contact for Managing Directors or Vice Presidents across commercial division
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures or revenue-generating initiatives with a focus on improving pre-tax income and operating margin
- Own cadenced reporting for ongoing cost reduction initiatives and current month, quarter, and year financial performance
- Partner with the business to instill ownership and accountability in financial outcomes
- Facilitate adherence to corporate policies and procedures, and perform ad hoc analysis as requested by senior leaders
- Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement

Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, a quantitative field, or another relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- Six (6) years of financial analysis/modelling experience, with three (3) years of airline/aviation experience strongly preferred
- Three (3) years of leadership experience
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Strong financial analysis skills, with experience working on large business cases with multiple stakeholders (matrix organizations)
- Ability to interact daily with people at different levels within the organization, including developing and maintaining relationships
- Comfortable delivering presentations to senior leadership
- Available for occasional overnight travel (15%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or appropriate post-graduate degree or licensing
- Prior experience as a leader in a financial planning & analysis team
- Experience providing high-quality customer service in a matrix structure with a commitment to meeting or exceeding expectations

- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Uphold JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
- The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $111,400.00 and $156,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more
