Mounting Machine Operator

Staffmark is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mounting Machine Operator to join our client's team in Marietta, GA. In this role, you'll play a key part in the printing process by accurately mounting corrugated printing plates to carrier sheets according to customer specifications.

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Review job tickets and instructions to determine job requirements
• Accurately mount plates using pin-mount technology and ensure all materials meet customer specifications
• Operate mounting equipment including optical devices, sticky-back applicators, sewing machines, metal shears, and cutting/drill tables
• Inspect plates for defects or blemishes prior to mounting
• Complete assigned tasks in the order entry system and ensure proper tracking of jobs and materials
• Operate a forklift if necessary (training provided)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and company policies
• Communicate effectively with other shifts to ensure smooth job handoffs
• Attend all required training and meetings
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience with photopolymer plate mounting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
• Comfortable operating various machinery and working in a production environment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
