Platemaking Machine Operator

Staffmark is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Marietta, GA, to find a dedicated Platemaking Machine Operator. This role is perfect for someone looking to build a career in production and printing technology while working in a steady, team-oriented environment.

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Review job tickets to determine production requirements
• Manufacture printing plates accurately and on schedule
• Operate platemaking equipment including CDI, exposure, washout, dryer, and post-exposure units
• Follow assigned tasks through the order entry system, ensuring materials and labor are correctly recorded
• Learn various vendor plating materials and quality control processes
• Participate in production meetings and contribute to process improvement
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols, PPE procedures, and company SOPs
• Clearly communicate job status and handoffs to next shift
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior experience with photopolymer or platemaking equipment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn technical equipment and processes
• Comfortable working in a production environment
