Job Title: Customer Service Representative - Property & Casualty Insurance
Location: Schaumburg, IL (Hybrid - in-office once a week)
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Direct Hire
Position Summary:
Our client, an international insurance agency, is seeking a Customer Service Representative with a background in Property & Casualty insurance to join a growing, client-focused team in Schaumburg, IL. This hybrid position offers a supportive, professional environment where you will handle service-related tasks for commercial lines clients. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently while collaborating closely with Account Managers and Producers.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage service requests and policy changes for commercial P&C clients
Prepare and review insurance documents for accuracy and compliance
Handle client communications regarding renewals, audits, endorsements, and billing
Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriters for quotes, documentation, and problem resolution
Maintain organized records and client files in both digital and physical formats
Assist with onboarding of new accounts and prepare presentation materials for clients
Monitor timelines and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely completion of tasks
Escalate complex or unusual issues to appropriate team members
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a Customer Service role within Property & Casualty insurance
Valid P&C License required
Strong working knowledge of commercial lines insurance policies and procedures
Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS360, Applied)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Occasional travel to client sites may be required (must have reliable transportation)

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
