The SAP Coordinator provides support to maintain the accuracy of SAP transactions, master data, and inventories. Provides training as required to ensure employees are able to perform all SAP transactions. Day to Day Role
- Comply with Dart Container's policies and procedures.
- Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations that meet the company quality standards, and serve the needs of our customers. This includes commitment to a process of continuous improvement.
- Respond to equipment and software issues and coordinate timely resolution to include Zebra printers, RF scanners, and account logins.
- Support supervisors and managers with SAP software and hardware needs.
- Subject Matter Expert for SAP transactions in Production Planning and Execution (PPE), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Warehouse Management System (WMS). Recommend process or system changes as identified.
- Manage and update master data to include Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, work orders, warehouse bin locations, confirmations, receipts and scrap.
- Provide support to the department during SAP outage.
- Lead employee group or individual training for new hires and refresher courses on basic SAP functions and transaction codes.
- Communicate with Service Desk regarding individual or system concerns. * Assist inventory control team and warehouse functions in maintaining accuracy of information.
- Assure compliance with all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
- Perform other duties within the employee's training and skills as directed by the supervisor and/or manager.
Core Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate must posess the following:
- Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work weekends as needed
- One (1) year of production or warehouse experience
- Six (6) months SAP experience
- Three (3) years computer experience
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity with multiple facets of production (set-up, inspection, packaging, material handling)
