SUMMARY

The Logistics Auditor Lead supports the Distribution Center Manager in overseeing the performance of our 3PL by auditing critical warehouse processes, identifying quality risks, and ensuring service levels are met. This role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence by improving accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in accordance with Pelican standards and Customer Requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Execute scheduled and random audits across inbound receiving, outbound shipping, inventory handling, and returns processing to ensure compliance with SOPs and customer SLAs.
  • Maintain integrity of inbound receipts, put away accuracy, outbound orders, packaging, labeling, and routing compliance.
  • Oversee and monitor the inventory statuses and processing timelines of returns. Spot check return processing workflows for accuracy and timely resolution.
  • Participate in continual improvement initiatives led by Distribution Center Manager.
  • Perform spot checks on current Customer Processes documented by Pelican Quality.
  • Audit value-added processes such as kitting, relabeling, bundling, rework, etc. to ensure quality and adherence to our standards.
  • Compile audit findings, highlight trends, and present weekly summaries to the Distribution Center Manager.


  • Flag and document any process non-conformances, escalating urgent issues to the Distribution Center Manager


  • Support cross-functional investigations related to customer complaints, order discrepancies or recurring quality issues.
  • Monitor corrective actions and validate that process gaps have been addressed long-term.


JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or quality auditing preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook Suites
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and continuous improvement principles
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
