This is a 1st Shift role, the work schedule is: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm Eastern Time SUMMARY Performs a variety of duties to ensure the accuracy of goods received into the Receiving Department and computer system. Works from delivery receipts, packing slips, delivery memorandums, manifest, other written/verbal instructions. Communicates information to interested parties through both written and verbal communication. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verifies accuracy of packing slips, manifests, and delivery receipts against product brought into the company. Verifies all counts and weights are correct.
- Reports damage and shortages to the Purchasing and Shipping/Receiving departments.
- Ensures all appropriate documentation is present with shipment at time of delivery.
- Transacts all delivery receipts into ERP system. Scans all documentation for electronic filing.
- Prepares and maintains all receiving records.
- Works with Purchasing and Accounting to reconcile all delivery receipts.
- Monitors receiving inspection for flow of goods.
- Notifies appropriate party of receipt of returned goods (RMA).
- Transacts product and paperwork to and from outside vendors.
- Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in receiving
- Basic knowledge with MS Office Suite, SAP a plus.
- Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
- Must be certified to drive forklifts or pass certification exam during initial trial period.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be constantly required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
