Job Details:
Job Summary: Perform receiving, in-process, final, and shipping inspections in accordance with defined requirements. Perform inspections on primarily metal fabrication parts, electronics, partially assembled electronic modules, and fully assembled modules Maintain inspection throughput to meet site revenue plans. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review inspection plans, engineering drawings, and specifications for all material requirements.
- Document and quarantine all non-conforming products in accordance with established process (SAP Quality Notification, discrepancy logs, etc.).
- Receiving Inspection:
- Perform incoming materials inspection according out sampling plan as outlined in SAP.
- Review accuracy of certificate of conformance according to product requirements.
- Perform First Article inspections (FAI) and create FAI reports.
- In-Process Inspection:
- Perform in process inspection according to specifications as outlined in work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Provide inspection findings feedback to assembly team.
- Final and Shipping Inspection:
- Inspect final inspection according to production and delivery priorities.
- Ensure smooth movements of products and inventories between quality, production, testing, and warehouse.
- Improve and optimize inspection plans or methods.
- Train and mentor junior inspectors.
- Adhere to safety and electrostatic control protocols.
Key Qualifications:
- Two-year college degree or 2 years of working experience in manufacturing, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or quality control.
- 3-5 years of experience as Quality Inspector in technical industry.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, data specifications, and inspection instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to use measurement tools: caliper, micrometer, multi-meter, and microscopes.
- Demonstrated advance ability to use advance measuring techniques (CMM, Keyence, FARO arm, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the workday.
- Requires 20/20 vision or correctable to 20/20 and normal vision.
- Experience and knowledge of ISO9001 compliance standards strongly preferred
- Quality Inspector Certification a plus.
- IPC-JSTD and/or IPC-610 certification strongly preferred
Cubic Pay Range: $22.55 - $34.00 + benefits.
