We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Cloud Hosting Manager with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and DevOps practices. This role is responsible for leading the design, deployment, automation, and operational management of our cloud hosting environment, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency across all hosted applications and services.

As a key member of the Cloud Engineering team, you will drive best practices in cloud infrastructure management, automate provisioning and configuration, and support agile development workflows across our DevOps pipelines.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize Azure cloud environments, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and monitoring.
  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.

  • Lead a team of cloud engineers and DevOps professionals, providing guidance on architecture, automation, and operations.

  • Collaborate with software engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure alignment across infrastructure and applications.

  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines (using Azure DevOps or similar) to streamline code integration, testing, deployment, and rollback.

  • Monitor system performance, implement auto-scaling strategies, and manage incident response for hosted environments.

  • Enforce governance, security policies, and cost optimization techniques within Azure.

  • Support disaster recovery planning, implementation, and periodic testing.

  • Evaluate and integrate new Azure services and DevOps tools to continuously improve operational efficiency and developer productivity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

  • 5+ years in cloud infrastructure management, with at least 3+ years of direct Azure experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for building and managing Azure infrastructure.

  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.

  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, networking, security, and monitoring on Azure.

  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).

  • Experience managing production environments and mission-critical applications.

  • Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies, Agile/Scrum, and modern development pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).

  • Knowledge of cost control strategies and Azure billing/monitoring tools.

  • Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and legacy system integration.
