We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Electronics Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our traffic controller and detection production team in Anaheim, CA. This role is critical to ensuring we deliver high-quality products that keep our roadways safe and efficient. DUTIES:

  • Supervise traffic controller and detection production team to ensure high quality and efficient traffic products manufacturing. Provide coaching/feedback, conduct performance reviews, implement corrective actions as required to build high performing teams.
  • Train technicians to build and test traffic control products. Act as a mentor and coach to ensure projects and duties are completed in accordance with business needs.
  • Maintain high quality production with sense of urgency and customer satisfaction. Assess Production Team by evaluating work performance and ability to adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Delegate tasks as needed to other members of the Production Team to ensure proper completion and deadlines met.
  • Create, maintain, and track performance metrics for production team through ShopVue and ERP.
  • Responsible for overseeing and leading inventory, process documentation, communication with headquarters and facility in Tecate as well as general operation in Anaheim, CA.
  • Represent the factory to customers and agencies by leading tours, conducting inspections, and giving confidence to customers the factory will meet and exceed their expectations.
  • Maintain production records and perform packaging for traffic products as necessary. Process ERP transactions for work orders, shipments, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Follow documented work instructions to perform electronic and mechanical assembly for traffic control products.
  • Perform quality inspections and burn in tests for traffic products, fix and report any test failures or issues encountered. Attach correct labels to the products and various subassemblies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic and mechanical product assembly and testing. Traffic product and / or electronics productions experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Technical training and certification preferred.
  • Dexterity with hand tools, soldering equipment, and other typical electronic assembly tools.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate well with peers and supervisors. High attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy, able to use email, Microsoft Office Applications and ERP.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift 35+ pounds.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

  • The ability to travel to the Tecate facility or other Econolite locations preferred.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this full-time exempt position is $75,000 - $80,000 per year plus benefits. Pay ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay rates for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
