Clinical Case Manager

We are searching for an individual to fill a Clinical Case Manager position for the Family Access Center for Excellence (FACE) of Boone County, Missouri. FACE Community-Based Services is a community access center that provides evidence-based clinical case management funded by the Boone County Children Services Fund. It is affiliated with the University of Missouri's Department of Educational, School and Counseling Psychology, the Missouri Prevention Science Institute, the Department of Psychological Sciences, and the School of Social Work. FACE is an innovative approach to coordinating and improving the mental and physical health, well-being, and safety of children and families in Boone County, MO. FACE evidence-based services promote and empower family involvement and choice throughout the creation and progress towards case management goals.

Job Description

Clinical Case Manager will:

  • Implement evidence-based needs assessments to youth and/or their families as well as conduct suicide risk screeners as needed.
  • Provide intensive case management services to support families in overcoming any barriers to connecting and accessing desired community resources that meet their specific needs.
  • Participate in outreach, prevention, and/or training efforts in the community.
  • Support graduate practicum students re: training and/or supervision.
  • Participate in ongoing efforts to obtain and/or maintain professional licensure and/or development.
Shift

The Clinical Case Manager position is a full-time, remote position. FACE hours of operation are Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Position may include up to 2 days a week of working until 7 p.m. A portion of working hours may occur remotely at the employee's residence, thus includes the ability to have a confidential space at home in which to work.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters level, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Psychology or related field.

Experience working in community settings, implementing evidence-based assessment and interventions, and coordinating clinical services for youth.

Candidates will be evaluated on the following factors:

  • Ability to implement and coordinate clinical case management services
  • Ability to communicate across multiple community disciplines and sectors
  • Communication, organizational, and management skills
  • Provide clinical supervision to graduate students
  • Ability to provide service to the program, department, college, and the profession
  • Certification or licensure in specialization area

Special consideration to those candidates that meet the preferred qualifications.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $52,916 - $85,000 per year
Grade: GGS-010
