Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician for Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique division, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers within the Atlanta, GA territories. Your primary responsibility will be to perform maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of compressor systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will represent our brand's commitment to quality and reliability, collaborating closely with both internal teams and clients to address their needs effectively.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting on-site assessments and diagnostics to identify issues with compressor equipment.
• Implementing corrective actions and performing repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Delivering high-level technical support and training to customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
• Documenting service activities and updating customer records to reflect service history and equipment status.
• Maintaining an inventory of parts and tools necessary for performing installations and repairs.
• Communicating effectively with the service team to ensure alignment on project status and customer feedback.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a field service technician position, preferably in mechanical or electrical systems.
• Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of compressor systems and their operation.
• Effective problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
• The ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed

  • $27.00hr - $36.00hr. Salary based on knowledge, skills, and experience. Salary has been geographically adjusted based on cost-of-living factors. This position is overtime eligible and overtime begins after completing 8 work hours in a day.
  
  
  
  

Territory: Travel within 1-2 hours surrounding Atlanta, GA. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area.
