Job Title: Senior Director, Credit Reporting

What you'll do: As a Senior Director Credit Reporting you'll be directly involved in and oversee the management of, he development, implementation, and maintenance of the Credit Administration Analytics Data Store ("CAADS") within the Enterprise Data Warehouse ("EDW"). One of your key responsibilities is ensuring effective collaboration with the Bank's business units, IT, operational/administrative departments and bank regulators in reviewing and applying regulatory guidance and controls throughout the CAADS and other Credit Administration functions, as applicable. Our Senior Credit Administration Directors ensure all Credit Administration policies, procedures, and processes are documented and updated according to regulatory and internal standards.
- With primary focus on the CAADS you'll be responsible for supporting the Head of Credit Reporting in managing all Credit Administration policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and frameworks for financial services institutions. Monitor and assess Credit Administration governance and compliance programs and initiatives, and is responsible for ensuring first line of defense, Enterprise Risk Management, SOX, and other governance controls in Credit Administration are in place and functioning effectively.
- Monitors the coordination with the business units, IT, Credit Risk Review, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit/SOX, and other internal partners to facilitate Credit Administration governance, risk and compliance activities. Provide clear, pragmatic support and guidance with regard to the interpretation and adoption of regulatory requirement changes, and advise executive management about impact and recommended strategies.
- Serve as a point of contact and provide subject matter expertise for data, risk management, change management, and governance for Credit Administration processes, new credit products, and new business lines. Formulate management and Board reports, responses, and remediation plans, supervising the data collection and validation process as required.
- Ensure adequate support to the enterprise-wide Regulatory Relations function that includes oversight of general credit operations, including credit governance, loan approval processes, loan portfolio management and monitoring practices, risk rating methodology, ACL methodology, loan administration, treasury management and other commercial banking products and services.
- This role is initially an individual contributor with indirect leadership over a small team. Over time the role may include leading and developing a team; hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.
What you'll need:
- 12+ years of related experience in Credit Administration, Data Analytics, Data Management or similar field.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Masters Degree Preferred
- Advanced to Expert knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Advanced to Expert knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Previous experience with CreditLens, FIS and Fiserve systems preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, project management, and collaborative skills
- Previous leadership experience required
- Advanced speaking and writing skills
