Location-Sibley Memorial Hospital

Hours - Monday-Friday with rotating weekends 7a-3:30p

Pay rate- $17.50 per hour

Requirements


  • Track inventory movement in supply areas and request updates to remove slow-moving items or increase stock of fast-moving items.
  • Help with the daily unloading and loading of supply trucks from the Consolidated Services Center to ensure all deliveries are on time.
  • Restock emergency carts, including checking for expired or soon-to-expire items. This task must be completed within 40 minutes per cart.
  • Restock supply areas efficiently with a target productivity rate of at least 25 supply lines per hour.
  • Attend daily team meetings to receive assignments and updates.
  • Check for and remove expired or short-dated products from supply areas regularly.
  • Clean, disinfect, and return small medical equipment for use by other departments.
  • Keep all supply areas clean, organized, and in compliance with Joint Commission standards.
  • Respond to supply requests from hospital departments and direct them to the correct person or team.
  • Make sure all inventory tools (scanners, software, etc.) are working properly and report any issues as needed.
  • Help with the receiving process by checking, sorting, and recording all incoming packages. Deliver items to the correct hospital units after they are received.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar work environment.

  • Prior experience with inventory stocking and distribution procedures.

  • Strong understanding of customer service practices.

  • Knowledge of healthcare supplies and materials management is preferred.
