Job Description

We are seeking aSenior Product Managerto join our Visa Open Banking team and own the strategy and execution of our groundbreaking Reseller Platform. This is a high-impact, foundational role where you'll define product strategy and deliver the APIs, tools, and experiences that enable platforms, from vertical SaaS companies to enterprise software providers, to build open banking solutions on Visa's infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Leadership

Define and execute the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Visa Open Banking Reseller Platform

Drive commercial success by partnering with business development to structure compelling partner programs

Analyze platform adoption metrics, partner success indicators, and transaction volumes to ensure market competitiveness

Product Development & Execution

Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, API specifications, and user stories

Lead product development for key platform components

Serve as product owner for dedicated engineering teams

Customer & Stakeholder Management

Conduct deep customer discovery to understand platform developer needs and technical challenges

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, legal, compliance, and go-to-market teams

Act as subject matter expert and platform evangelist to internal leadership and external developer community

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience with API-driven products, developer platforms, or multi-sided marketplaces

- Strong technical background with ability to lead technical discussions and review API documentation

- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and complex projects in large, matrixed organizations

- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate vision to technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualificaitons:

- Deep knowledge of Open Banking ecosystem (PSD2, FDX) and competitive landscape

- Background in fintech, payments, or financial data services

- Experience leveraging GenAI tools and technologies to enhance product development, automate workflows, and accelerate decision-making

- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to navigate ambiguity and build products from ground up

- Experience defining product aspects of partner/reseller programs

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 230,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
