Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, FP&A plays a critical leadership role in the financial planning and decision-support functions of the organization. This individual will lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial analysis processes while acting as a key business partner to senior leadership. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning processes across the organization.

  • Drive financial performance analysis, including variance analysis, trend reporting, and KPI monitoring to support executive decision-making.

  • Partner with business units and functional leaders to provide financial insight and strategic guidance.

  • Develop and enhance financial models, tools, and dashboards to improve forecasting accuracy and business visibility.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior leadership, including detailed commentary on performance drivers and business implications.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of analysts or managers, ensuring professional growth and alignment with company goals.

  • Continuously improve financial planning processes, including system enhancements, automation, and best practices implementation.

  • Support strategic initiatives such as M&A analysis, pricing strategies, capital investments, and cost optimization efforts.

  • Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field, with 2-3 years in a leadership or senior role.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and corporate financial planning processes.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.

  • Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Planful or similar) and ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Workday).

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agribusiness industry preferred

  • Exposure to Enterprise level budgeting and forecasting

  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement planning systems

Compensation and Benefits:

  • In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $142,800 to $200,030.Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience.

  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
