Allied Universal is seeking the position of a Badging & Foreign Visit Program. For all full-time positions, we offer medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, 401K, sick pay (in states where required), employee assistance programs, company discounts, perks and more! As the Allied Universal Badging & Foreign Visit Program, you will oversee badging office that will include answering and responding to incoming calls, greeting and directing visitors, and general administrative duties. What You'll Do: Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: **This is a full-time position working in the badge office and VUE Center lobby M-F 9-5pm. - Implementation of UFNAP DOE order and creating FACTS entries in DOE database and work closely with the VUE center Manager
* Issue Access Control badges utilizing Genetec Security Software * Process SLAC users travel documentation (immigration/passports and etc.) and confirm all documents are approved before a badge is issued * Assist SLAC badge office with employee/contractor badges * Review security recording footage and provide assistance in SLAC security investigations * Answer phones in a multi-line office in a professional manner * Route or transfer calls to appropriate departments or personnel * Communicates clearly both written and verbal * Customer service oriented, greeting callers, referring them to the right departments * Use Microsoft Office to review conference room calendars; send emails * Take and relay messages/Provide Information to callers * Provide direction on the phone regarding the person's destination * Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization * Conduct visual compliance checks for incoming personnel * Prepare letters and documents * Receive and sort mail and deliveries * Maintain the vehicle database and decal * Maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically for the account manager * Maintain of the badging office * Maintain records and process invoices for locksmith * Direct security/emergency calls to SLAC security department * Assist security account manager with policy and protocols

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: - Be at least 18 years of age
- Must be US citizen
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Maintain badging office to include answering incoming calls, responding to caller inquiries, directing calls as appropriate, and taking and giving accurate messages
- Greet and direct visitors as appropriate based on purpose of their visit
- Issue badges to new hires, employees, contractors and visitors
- Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills required and ability to accurately maintain and organize large volumes of paperwork
- Able to:
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
