AMD together we advance_

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Software Architect to join our CPU Diagnostics team. This role is instrumental in integrating machine learning techniques into the design and development of our CPU test suites and drives the development of autonomous agents for test execution, results analysis, and failure debugging, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our diagnostic processes.

THE PERSON:

A visionary AI Software Architect with a passion for pushing the boundaries of CPU diagnostics should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex technical issues. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and guide projects to successful completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Architect, design, and implement machine learning models and algorithms for CPU functional testing, manufacturing testing, and other diagnostic applications.
  • Drive the integration of AI/ML techniques into existing and new test suites to improve test coverage, fault detection, and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Develop and deploy autonomous agents capable of executing complex test scenarios, collecting and analyzing large datasets of test results, and autonomously debugging CPU failures.
  • Collaborate with CPU design, verification, and test engineers to understand architectural nuances and identify opportunities for AI-driven diagnostic improvements.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate AI/ML frameworks, tools, and technologies.
  • Drive the research and adoption of cutting-new AI methodologies relevant to CPU diagnostics.
  • Define and enforce best practices for code quality, scalability, and maintainability of AI-driven diagnostic solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and CPU architecture.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in architecting and deploying AI/ML solutions in a production environment.
  • Deep understanding of CPU architecture, functional testing, and manufacturing test methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Extensive experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Experience with hardware-software co-design and system-level debugging.
  • Publications or presentations in relevant AI/ML or CPU architecture conferences.
  • Experience with reinforcement learning or other advanced AI techniques for autonomous systems.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
