How You'll Make an Impact Dudek is currently seeking a full-time Senior Engineer in our Engineering Practice group with specialized experience in wastewater treatment plant planning, design, and rehabilitation. This position provides technical design as part of our overall practice group, which provides full-service planning and engineering consulting services for a wide range of water, sewer, recycled water and stormwater infrastructure projects. With over 900 wastewater treatment plants in California alone, processing approximately 4 billion gallons of wastewater daily, the need for engineering consulting on process efficiency, reliability, expansion and rehabilitation could not be greater. This hybrid environment role at Dudek provides for the diversity to support teams across the state while balancing work and personal life. As a senior engineer, you will have the opportunity to: Both lead and support the planning and design of treatment plant capital improvement projects. Be or become the subject matter expert in the areas of conventional wastewater treatment using process such as activated sludge, fixed-film processes, biological nutrient removal, chemical/physical primary treatment, membrane bio-reactors, tertiary filtration, disinfection, and biosolids processing. Provide engineering support services during the construction phases of improvement projects. Be part of a growing consultant team focused on providing much needed support of rehabilitation and improvements to critical and aging infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities
Compensation: $120,000-$135,000*
*Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check prior to beginning employment.
