Pellet Mill Operator (Swing Shift)

Pay Rate: $22.35 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour, for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour, for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Essential Job Functions:

• Shut-down of equipment & process for safety related issues.
• Perform light maintenance, or call-in plant maintenance for repairs.
• Start-up and shutdown procedures, routine preventative maintenance and record keeping.
• Adjustments, as needed, for production and quality control.
• Perform the duties of Plant Lead person,when needed.
• Work with bagging operation for product flow, quality control, sampling, and documentation.
• Assist maintenance personnel.
• Assist with quality control opportunities.
• Promote good work environment and employee relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Manager.

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and verbally communicate (in English).
• Complete all assigned reports clearly and legibly.
• Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs.
• Ability to administer and follow all company policies.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights above 160 feet, and to work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime (as needed).
• Proficient Mathematical aptitude.
• Good organization and problem-solving skills.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Some computer skills.
