Job Overview:
Setup and operate CNC Saw, Vertical and Horizontal Saws and other shop equipment. Manage the saw area workload based on work orders and schedule. Help stock, move, organize, and manage inventory.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct set-ups and run production per schedule or as directed by supervisor * Deburr, finish, and assemble material and parts as required * Meet production goals * Assist Machinist as needed * Plan day by studying work orders, drawings, material specifications and schedule * Utilize math concepts of measuring, counting, and reading blueprints, tape measure and calipers * Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance regularly * Organize and clean workspace daily Requirements:
* At least 2 (two) or more years of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment. * At least 2 (two) or more years of experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. * At least 1 (one) or more years of experience with precision measurement tools and inspections techniques (calipers, tape measurers, micrometers, and gauges) * At least 1 (one) or more years of experience completing set ups & production runs with a machine saw * Must wear company provided safety shoes meeting ANSI Z standards, safety glasses and hearing protections. No tools required. Core Competencies:
* Perform moderately heavy physical work with routine standing (80%), walking (20%) * Lift and move up to 50 lbs. routinely, bend, stoop, and maneuver around objects * Tolerate exposure to dust, fumes, noise, temperature, and other elements in the shop area * Must comply with the Company's drug-free workplace policy * Requires good eye-hand coordination and hearing and visual acuity for near seeing
Preferences:
* High School or Equivalent preferred. * Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Travel & Work Arrangements:
This position will be based 100% onsite at our Tulsa, Oklahoma facility Must be available to work overtime as needed, including weekends or extended shifts. What We Offer:
