About this position:

The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted adviser to the business to help inform and guide decision making through business partner support and insightful analyses. We are looking for forward-thinking, results oriented individuals that will succeed in a fast-paced environment and thrive in leading teams and improving processes that will allow us scale with growth. As a member of the BT management team you'll partner with senior functional leaders from across the company to transform our business in alignment with Salesforce's long-term vision.

The primary responsibility of this role is to partner with the Enterprise Portfolio & Program Management Office (PMO) and the broader Business Technology leadership team to develop an enterprise-wide portfolio management process. You'll partner closely with the PMO organization to build a process which brings financial rigor to the portfolio prioritization process.

Successful candidates for this team have strong financial and analytical skills, a keen eye for process improvement, are a curious problem solver, excel at extracting insights from data and converting ideas into action. They have exceptional partnership and communication skills, are able to manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity effectively. Additionally, this individual is expected to be an integral player in important cross functional, organization wide initiatives and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross organization portfolio planning process

• Own business case analysis to help executive leadership prioritize highest impact projects

• Drive scalable and flexible IT staffing models to allow for agile prioritization

• Vendor management - managed service providers, staff augmentation, etc.

• Successfully lead, empower and cultivate a team of cross-functional project members

• Use financial and business metrics to evaluate portfolio performance and investment priorities

• Understand data and processes necessary in order drive operational efficiency and additional reporting capabilities

• Partner with PMO organization to lead financial reporting of Corporate Strategic Initiatives (CSI)

• Drive process improvement and standardization in partnership with other Finance Business Partners across the Finance and Strategy Organization.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, accounting or economics or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.

• 8-12+ years of relevant work experience

• Experience with process mapping, time tracking and capacity tools, ROI evaluation, project management, and business metric reporting

• Ability to apply strong business judgement and communicate effectively with executive management, business stakeholders, and technical communities

• Ability to drive alignment with key stakeholders to guide strategy and business direction

• Works well in team environment with changing requirements and competing priorities

• Leadership experience, serving as a mentor and coach to employees. Leading geographical dispersed teams is a plus.

This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
